Meet the Orthodontists
Dr. T. R. Reiner
Dr. T. R. Reiner was born and raised in Eastern Montana and graduated from Scobey High School. He completed his undergraduate education at Pacific Lutheran University, graduating with honors and majors in Biology, Philosophy and German. Dr. Reiner received his dental education at University of Washington in Seattle. After obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) he and his family moved back to Scobey. Dr. Reiner practiced general dentistry in Scobey for seven years before deciding to pursue a specialty education in orthodontics. Accepting a residency position at Loma Linda University, the Reiners moved to Southern California. After two years of dedicated specialty education, he received his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.
Upon graduation, the Reiners once again moved back to the area, setting up practice in Williston. Dr. Reiner has been treating orthodontic patients for the past 19 years at the current practice location. His research and clinical techniques have been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics (Spanish translation).
He has been married to Barbara (Juhl) Reiner for thirty-three years. They are blessed with three daughters – Ann, Jane, and Kate. The Reiners have grandchildren in Kansas and Virginia. Dr. Reiner is involved in church activities and has a special interest in the Boy Scout of America, having attained the rank of Eagle as a boy. He has always been very involved in outdoor sports. Indeed, to him it is a privilege to have grown up and had the opportunity to practice in this area.
Dr. Fisher was raised on a farm 20 miles south of Poplar, MT, in the Charley Creek community. He attended Lambert High School, graduating in 1996. He graduated from MSU-Billings in 2001 with a bachelor in Biology and was awarded Most Outstanding Senior in Biology. In 2002 he and his wife, Michelle (Prevost), moved to Denver to attend dental school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, graduating summa cum laude in 2006 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Desiring to specialize in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics he was privileged to be accepted to a residency during the highly competitive application process. He spent the next 27 months studying and treating patients in an orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado, graduating November 2008. During orthodontic residency, Dr. Fisher served as class president and was awarded one of only two scholarships for academic and clinical excellence.
In July of 2008 Tony and Michelle welcomed their first child, Evan, into the world. Upon receiving his orthodontic certification he and his family returned to the area where he joined Dr. T. R. Reiner’s practice. Dr. Fisher and Michelle are excited to be back home among family and friends.
